The next morning we woke up and were invited to biscuits, gravy, potatoes and scrambled eggs. All were very good. After breakfast were had some more conversation and then hit the road for Sanibel around noon.
Well it was supposed to be about a 8 hour drive which turned into a 12 hour drive. We stopped St. Petersburg at a sushi place called Tokyo Bay, the food was good and fairly reasonable. After dinner we hit the road again towards Sanibel. We arrived at the Gulf Breeze Cottage on Shell basket Lane around 12:30am. We grabbed our key and went to cabin 2 and within an hour were fast asleep.
