Well first of all Merry Post-Christmas! We were busy traveling to St.Louis MO and visiting family. We had a very nice time seeing everyone. No news good or bad to really report, we just had a nice time. As for Forever (RV) she has developed a leak in the shower between the tub and the wall. The way they build a shower in some RV’s is they have a tub section that is put in place. Then the fasten a plastic wall over the lip of the tub. The lip extends at least an inch and a half up. Well for some reason after 3 months we have a leak. Since we are in our warranty period I did not to do to much so it will be fixed correctly. I tried a little caulk which did not help. So I have instead used plastic to cover the area where the shower wall and the tub meet and so far no leak. The leak overall isn’t bad but enough to get out of hand if you forget about it. I have added to an email I have sent to our dealer. So we now have the following issues: 1) Tub leaks 2) Toilet bowl does not hold water. 3) Headboard is warped 4) Mysterious “ink” stain on carpet that gets worse when trying to clean it. 5) Window valance has fallen on one side (screw pulled loose) 6) One window has pulled some of the butyl apart. The window seals but this also could be a problem. 7) A cut on the bathroom door that was mentioned at walk-through was never addressed. 8 ) There is a wide black rubber trim on top of the dining room slide that I want to show them too. I was fine with most of these issues until the shower leaked since water can be an RV enemy. The rest are annoyances but can be addressed in the spring if necessary. I have contacted our dealer Naylor RV’s here in Kansas City in late Nov. we are waiting for the headboard to come in now.

Well we have had some more snow this weekend. Things are holding up well here. I got out today and re-leveled the RV. After the 10″ of snow came and left the RV had sunk about a half inch in front. I built some larger landing pads out of 2×12′s 3 high and screwed them together and everything is better and should last a very long time now. Some people have asked to see additional pictures of the RV, so now that it decorated for Christmas this look as a good time. So here they are:

From hail we now move onto snow. It started to snow yesterday around 7am and this morning we ended up with 10″. We have also had temperatures down to near 0 and the waterline wrap is holding fine. Propane usage seems high to me, the picture below of the tank (blue) I would have thought would last longer. I am going to call Dometic to see if the furnace is acting correctly. The furnace seems to cycle often. It will heat for a few minutes then shut off and then less than a minute later, it’s back on. Then sometime it acts, what I would call normal, it turns on runs for a while and then stays off for a while.
